So you will need two different kits, or the hardware kit and two salvage bikes.
The Sun Coaster is designed to use 16" front wheels. My supplier does not stock this wheel because no one repairs a $35.00 bike. Best source wall mart or goodwill.
A 20" multi speed bike will supply the rear wheels, chain, derailleur, brakes calipers, brake handles, and shift parts. You will also need a chain splicing tool and longer brake cables. (note a 10 speed bike will build a 5-speed Sun coaster ,we will not be using the double front sprocket)
our bike parts kit will have all the bike parts with the exception of the front wheels.
What else will I need beyond the kits ?
A home improvement store will supply the additional materials outlined in the plans.
